An external USB keyboard did work on the Thinkpad X1 Yoga and the PIN was entered. On the Surface if I attach an external USB keyboard it doesn’t work properly. I tried to publish this information on forums, to help other Dell owners to avoid this situation by recording bitlocker recovery keys, but all forums are blocking such messages immediately.
