They also help support crafting by allowing you to obtain aethersands by using Aetherial Reduction, which is the act of breaking down specific collectables into sands you can craft with. WebAetherial Reduction is the fastest. Make sure you don't go above 4/8 or the chances of getting Aethersand is higher than clusters. You also don't want to be below 3/8 or you'll only get a few clusters. I typically get around 30 or so per item at 4/8, sometimes more. Next best is simply gathering them yourself at Mor Dhona with your Ward abilities.
