Holley used an old Autolite (Ferd) design and it just didn't work so they quit making them. One of the Holley tech's finally told me to replace it with a 4150/4160 750cfm, I did and happy I did. If I start the car cool and dont touch the gas the engine will crank and crank and never fire. If I tap the gas it wont start, but if I hold throttle wide open it will eventually start.
